I bring a trauma-informed, neurodivergent affirming, Queer affirming, and feminist lens to all of my work.

But what does that even mean?

  • Being trauma-informed means creating a safe relational environment to explore the ways that your body responds to stress and trauma and how it affects your emotions and interactions. I prioritize safety by trusting your unique stories, building trust, and empowering you to process at your own pace.

  • Being neurodivergent affirming means creating an environment honours your unique experiences, whether you identify as autistic, ADHD, dyslexic, or any other neurodivergent variation. I do not "treat" or seek to "cure" your neurodivergence. Together, we'll work to create a relationship and atmosphere where you feel safe, understood, and free to express your self fully.

  • Being Queer-affirming (or LGBTQIA2S+ affirming) means creating a welcoming and inclusive space that respects and celebrates your sexual orientation and gender identity. In our sessions, I prioritize understanding your unique experiences as a queer individual, validating your feelings, and supporting your journey toward self-acceptance.

  • Using a feminist lens means that in our sessions, we may focus on how systemic issues, such as sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia, and other forms of oppression, may impact your mental health and relationships. My goal is to support your growth and resilience, helping you navigate personal and social challenges while fostering a deeper connection with yourself and others.
